The Domaine
History

Planted between the years 800 and 1000, the VIGNES DU MAYNES belonged to the monks of the Cluny abbey, then to the powerful Comtes de Montrevel (1557). Pierre Guillot instigated the practise of cultivating the vine organically since 1954.

His son, Alain Guillot took over the domaine and has practised organic farming and vinification with conviction and dynamism ever since, respecting both the consumer and nature. Today, the Domaine des Vignes du MAYNES is comprised of 6 ha 60, under a single title. Strengthened by 40 years of experience we maintain one of the most prestigious terroirs in southern Burgundy.
